Distinguishing features

Energy consumption

The use of state-of-the-art EC fans and energy-efficient lighting has reduced power consumption by up to 76% in operating mode.

Quiet running

The use of electronically controlled EC-type fans and a specially designed interior air distribution system guarantees even airflow and quiet and comfortable operation.

Dimensions

K-series compartments are manufactured in widths from 50 to 160 cm as standard. On special request, they can be modified both in terms of dimensions and functionality.

Control panel

Intuitive control of the chamber via a touchscreen display that can be operated even when wearing gloves. For added convenience, each function is activated via a dedicated button, without having to enter lower levels.

UV lamp

The fitted 15 W UV lamp guarantees disinfection of the inside of the chamber ensuring sterile working conditions. The lamp can be programmed to run for up to 9 h 50 min, and the lamp switches off automatically when the process is complete. The chambers are also equipped with a UV lamp timer.

HEPA filter

Installed HEPA filters of the highest quality, tested in our own testing laboratory, provide a guarantee of adequate cleanliness of the air and working environment. The chamber has a HEPA filter run-time monitoring system to control its effectiveness.

Version without tabletop

A version of the chamber without a worktop is available as an option.

Effective disinfection

A mounted UV lamp in the rear of the chamber guarantees disinfection of the chamber interior, ensuring sterile working conditions.

Convenient connection

The single electrical socket is located outside the working area, on the side panel housing.

Airflow sensor inside the chamber

• a chamber with an airflow sensor can be ordered as an option
• the flow rate can be adjusted within a range of +/- 10 %
• the current flow value is visible on the display, in addition the temperature inside the working chamber expressed in degrees Celsius is visible under the flow value

Table - comfortable and stable base

• "C-shaped" steel construction, made of the highest quality materials
• stainless steel top made for a specific chamber model
• height of table adjusted for sitting work
• the tables are colour-matched to the ALPINA laminar flow cabinets
